    Banning political advertising is a great way for Twitter to absolve itself of accountability for political content on its platform. Now, they can just throw their hands up and say, "We can't be responsible for what people choose to share and amplify, so it's not our problem."

    Being full stack doesn’t mean you know every single thing about every technology you could possibly use to create software for the web. It means you can create and deploy a web application by yourself. Rails + jQuery + Heroku is “full stack” by my definition.

    She is back into the hospital. She was shaking a lot, we first thought was pain, vet thinks is White Dog Shaker Syndrome. The symptoms seems to match. Tomorrow we need to also find a neurologist for her.

    Nobody is considered a hero for averting a disaster, you only become a hero if the disaster happens. The firefighter is a hero, the fire protection inspector is an annoying useless person who enforces pointless norms that cost you, berates you and eventually fines you.

    People comparing fear over Y2K to fear about climate change as if it's proof that we don't need to do anything because if Y2K didn't happen, neither will climate destruction.... You do realize how much work was done to make sure Y2K crises didn't occur, right?
