Do you need a visa to attend WordCamp Retreat?
People travel from all across the world to attend WordCamps in Germany.
Entry requirements vary by country; for example European Union citizens won’t need a visa, but a passport or other valid ID will be needed.
Depending on your nationality, passports must be valid for up to six months and are required for all visitors to Germany, except for European Union citizens and some other nationals holding valid national ID cards.

We can provide you with a letter of invitation
If you need to apply for a Visa to visit Germany then we can assist. We will be happy to supply attendees with a letter of invitation that you can include with your visa application.
Please submit the following informations (First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (dd-mm-yyyy), Home Address, Passport Number, Date of Issue (dd-mm-yyyy), Date of Expiration (dd-mm-yyyy), Issuing Authority, Nationality) by email to soltau@wordcamp.org and allow up to 5 days for us to process your request. Requests for visa letters will be open until 1st April 2020 – make sure you send in your application before the deadline.
Please note that you must have already purchased your ticket for WordCamp Retreat as we can only supply a letter of invitation to booked attendees. Should the visa request be refused, you may send us an email asking for a refund.
