WordPress Origin Story

I’ve been self-employed building web sites since 2004, and started using WordPress in 2006, converting my own blog from BlogSpot to WordPress. By 2008 I’d built my first plug-in (WP to Twitter), which is still going strong today! 10 years and 11 plug-ins later, I’m busily at work doing custom plug-in development and accessibility consulting for sites of all sites and description.
