Description

After updating to the development version of WordPress 5.0, I've noticed that the icons throughout the page are of very poor quality. Is this a compression issue? They'd be much better in SVG format in this case.

Can you provide some details about your OS, screen, and browser? Can you see which image is loaded?

I can reproduce this if I set browser tools to load 1x images. For the sake of keeping discussion to one ticket, I'm closing this in favour of continuing on #45178.

The problem only occurs on larger, desktop browsers at 1x resolution. The image needs replacing with a higher quality image.
