Beskrivelse

Denne utvidelsen tilbyr en enkel måte å bli involvert med betatesting av WordPress.

Straks installert vil den gjør deg i stand til å oppgradere ditt nettsted til siste beta- eller kandidatutgivelse ved å klikke på en knapp og den innebygde oppgraderingsmodulen.

Som standard, straks den er slått på, skifter den ditt nettsted til oppdateringskanalen for punktutgivelser.

For de mer eventyrlystne er det et alternativ for å skifte til ytterste forkant (trunk) av programutviklingen.

Glem ikke å ta sikkerhetskopi før du starter!

Ekstra innstillinger

There is a setting to Skip successful autoupdate emails. It functions to disable sending emails to the admin user for successful autoupdates. Only emails indicating failures of the autoupdate process are sent.

Fanen Ekstra innstillinger kan inneholde valg for testing av funksjoner i kjernen som krever at konstanter er satt. En avkrysset funksjon vil legge til en konstant i filen wp-config.php i følgende format:

define( 'WP_BETA_TESTER_{$feature}', true );

Oppheves avkrysning for funksjonen fjernes konstanten.

Denne utvidelsen tilbakestiller konstanter i wp-config.php ved aktivering og fjerner dem ved deaktivering. Bruk filteret wp_beta_tester_config_path for å angi en ustandard filbane for wp-config.php.

Om ingen innstilling er synlig er det ingen testing som krever denne funksjonen å utføre.

Endringsforslag (PR) er velkomne på GitHub.

Installasjon

  1. Upload to your plugins folder, usually wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate the plugin on the plugin screen.
  3. Navigate to Tools … Beta Testing to configure the plugin.
  4. Under Mulitsite, navigate to Settings … Beta Testing to configure the plugin.
  5. Visit Dashboard … Upgrade (Or Tools … Upgrade in versions before 3.0) and update to the latest Beta Release.

Always make a backup when testing development releases. Worked great on my end allowing me to see WP 5.5 RC1 and RC2 with improved performance. Thank you for giving us a plugin that allows us to see the future of WordPress!

I am a very new user of WordPress Beta Tester but I never show as a supporter as WordPress Beta Tester there has all item available and plugins also amazing. The installation system is very easy as a new member/user I am feeling exiting any hesitation wasn't working in my mind. I was thinking for a short time I am playing an interesting game.
