Bio

In a different life I was an IT/Security Consultant for a IT consulting company. Today I run the technical department for a small communications agency where we make web applications. Within the WordPress community I’m a WordPress plugin developer, core contributor, and in my spare time I translate WordPress into Spanish. As I’m an editor for the WordPress Spanish Mexico locale.

Interests

I love martial arts and frequently justify torturing my body by participating in combat sports as “good exercise.” The woods is my sanctuary. Sleeping outside is something that only in recent years I’ve learn to appreciate. It feels wonderful to disconnect from society even if only for a few days. I love to draw and paint (it’s something I don’t do enough). Other hobbies include furniture making and cycling.

WordPress Origin Story

In 2008 a friend approached me about creating a simple resume site with a blog. On a whim I selected WordPress and haven’t look back since then.
