Bio

My name is Roy Sivan. I have been a WordPress user since beta, and have developed custom plugins and themes. Nowadays I primarily try to work on the “cutting edge” including using WordPress as a backend only while using client-side technologies for the front end. WordPress Origin Story

I started with WordPress after I learned HTML, a friend of mine told me to check out the beta version for a blog. I started with customizing “default”, and never looked back. Since then I have been an avid WordPress user, and developer. I used to be the lead WordPress developer at a leading agency in Hollywood, CA and have since moved on. I now use WordPress for my occasional freelance work, as well as coding any pet project with it. I am constantly trying to push the boundaries of WordPress, as well as teach is awesomeness along the way.
