Bio

Working as a UX Engineer primarily in React. Spent the last 10 years working in WordPress and WooCommerce, working as a dev, product owner and solutions architect. Day to day, I break down client requirements and identify the different routes to success, before translating them into a backlog of technical tasks for the production team to address.

Outside of that, I’m a post-graduate in Broadcast Journalism with a keen interest in Go Pro cameras and attaching them to pretty much anything and everything that moves.

WordPress Origin Story

Initially started as a web dev by making HTML templates from Photoshop documents, and then passing them across to a developer to hook WordPress in. Eventually it became quicker and easier to do that myself and just leave the more complicated bits for the developers. Over the course of a few months this led to me lead deving on some small projects and the rest is history.
