Training Weekly Meeting Update – Mondays 2000 UTC

Thanks to everyone who voted for a new time for the Training Team’s weekly meeting!

Mondays Overwhelmingly Preferred

Of all the available timeslots, four slots on Monday tied for the highest level of commitment from the team. The timeslot at 2000 UTC was upvoted by team representatives in several different geographic locations, making it the best choice moving forward.

We’re excited to get back on track in 2020 with our new time and hope that most are able to make it. With a worldwide contributor community, we understand not everyone is able to participate at that time, but the SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. Channel can continue to be used for asynchronous collaboration going forward.

Request for Input- Training Team Weekly Meeting Time

The current timeslot for the Training Team’s weekly meeting (Thursdays at 1300 UTC, 0800 Eastern, 0500 Pacific) is no longer workable for many members of the team.

In order to make finding a new time as easy and democratic as possible, we’ve set up a Doodle Poll with several time options throughout the week of 13 January. The poll will be displayed in your local time zone.

Visit the Poll and choose every time slot that you are available to meet each week. The time slot that fits the largest number of people’s schedules, including the team representatives, will be selected for our weekly meeting time moving forward.

Visit the poll using this address: https://doodle.com/poll/ya34ywghiy9esxz5

Please remember to select all timeslots you’re available to meet.
