I’m a Developer Relations Wrangler with Automattic

I’m passionate about helping creative, digital, and development teams improve processes, efficiency, and bottom-line so that they can do more of what they do best.

My interests change frequently, but currently include WordPress, Knitting, RV Travel, Roadtrips with my Family, and Continuous Improvement.

WordPress Origin Story

In 2007 I decided, on a whim to teach myself to knit despite not knowing one single knitter. Since this was during the rise of the personal blog I quickly determined that I should hop on the bandwagon. It didn’t take long for me to find that I was a much better website manager than a content creator. Fast forward to 2010, having been a speaker at both WordCamp NYC 2009 and WordCamp Boston I was offered the opportunity to join the StudioPress team as a member of the support team. More than 10 years later I’m still passionate about WordPress OSS and developing Websites the WordPress way.
