Coney Island at Night, a short silent film from 1905, by director and cameraman Edwin S. Porter. Early films were usually shot in daylight, but Porter perfected a technique for recording at night. The film features a slow pan of Luna Park and Dreamland, amusement parks at Coney Island in Brooklyn.
