WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress on my personal website in 2007, the easy of using a theme and instantly have a pro looking website, really awed me.

I attended WordCamp Mumbai 2012 and saw the need for getting together the WordPress Community in India, and started local meetups with the help of a few like minded WordPress Enthusiasts. This lead to us organizing WordCamp Mumbai 2014 the first WordCamp in India organized by the local WordPress meetup group.
